(FOX19) - The YMCA of Greater Cincinnati is offering a healthy alternative to Fat Tuesday.

All 13 of the Greater Cincinnati YMCA locations will be offering free group exercise classes throughout the day on Tuesday, February 12.

Fundraiser for Crime Stoppers and The Shield at Jim and Jack's

DELHI, OH (FOX19) - Food, fun and music are on the menu for an event at Jim & Jack’s Sunday, October 23 to benefit Crime Stoppers of Greater Cincinnati, Northern Kentucky and Southeast Indiana and The Shield. 

The $20 admission covers a full buffet dinner, dancing to tunes spun by Cincinnati DJ Tom Winkler, and a performance by “Mr. Entertainment” Mike Davis, whose musical styling features the sounds of Tom Jones, Neil Diamond, Dean Martin and Elvis. 

Proceeds will benefit Crime Stoppers’ reward fund and The Shield.

The event is from 1pm-5pm on Sunday. Jim & Jack's is located at 3456 River Road in Delhi.

Loveland Opera Idol semifinalist sneak peek performance

CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) - The semi-finalists of Cincinnati Opera’s Opera Idol competition will perform at “Opera Idol: A ‘Peek’ Performance” on Friday, June 24th in the intimate setting of the Marta Hewett Gallery, 1310 Pendleton Street, at the Pendleton Art Center.  Presented by the non-profit foundation B.J. Connective Concepts, the evening begins at 7:00 p.m. with a wine tasting and hors d’oeuvres, and guests will have a chance to meet and mingle with the singers - just one week before the Opera Idol competition finals.
